Great little store with amazing staff!

I know the owners, they themselves are nice enough, and perhaps it's the cons of running a small town store but there are many issues with Pips. This is not so much a review but a PSA for tourists unfamiliar with their business practices. They hold a monopoly on the town of Edgewater, price gouging many of the essential goods that people who live here without transport need. Milk is twice the price of other stores in nearby Radium, among other items sold at the store. If you must buy there, then do, the service will be friendly but BUYER BEWARE, check the EXPIRATION DATE on all perishable goods, they will sell you moldy bread, over the 19 years my family has been here we have returned goods countless times due to poor quality or time.
